The BBK Euskadi Europa is a competition sailboat that was developed by the designer, Jean Marie Finot. It is a single-hulled, 60 foot Open class boat.
In 1993, Jose Luis Ugarte, a sailor from Getxo, used it to participate in the Vendee Globe regatta, a competition around the world alone and without stops. The regatta, of more than 27,000 marine miles, began on November 22, 1993. José Luis Ugarte returned from it on April 6, 1994.
